WILD BLUE RESTAURANT + COCKTAIL BAR TAKES ITS LONG TABLE DINNER SERIES TO NEW HEIGHTS – LITERALLY
- First Ever Mountaintop Dinner and Collab with The Keefer Bar Anchor 2026 Series -
WHISTLER, BC (May 22, 2026) – Wild Blue Restaurant + Cocktail Bar is delighted to announce the return of its celebrated Long Table Dinner Series for 2026, featuring two unique outdoor dining experiences that elevate one of Whistler’s most anticipated culinary traditions.
Returning for its fourth year, the series will take place on Sunday, July 19 and Sunday, August 16, 2026.
For the first time, the July event will move from the valley to the top of Whistler Mountain, where guests will gather on the Valley View Deck at the Roundhouse Lodge for an unforgettable alpine dining experience surrounded by panoramic mountain views. Accessible via the Whistler Village Gondola, the mountaintop setting marks a significant evolution for the Long Table Dinner Series and offers a spectacular backdrop for an evening of exceptional cuisine and hospitality.
The August dinner returns to The Range at Whistler Golf Club, just steps from the restaurant, with an elevated approach of its own. Building on the event's established popularity, this year's experience will feature a refined menu alongside an exclusive cocktail collaboration alongside Vancouver’s The Keefer Bar, recently recognized as The Best Bar in Canada by North America’s 50 Best Bars. Guests can expect inventive cocktail experiences inspired by one of the country's most celebrated bar programs.
"Each year we look for ways to evolve the experience while staying true to what guests have come to love about these evenings: exceptional food, incredible wine and cocktails, and bringing people together around the table," said Neil Henderson, Partner and Restaurant Director at Wild Blue Restaurant + Cocktail Bar. "Hosting our July dinner on Whistler Mountain gives us an opportunity to create something truly memorable in one of Whistler’s most spectacular settings, while the August event allows us to build on a guest favourite with new culinary and cocktail experiences that bring a layer of creativity to a location that is the cornerstone of our tradition."
Under the culinary leadership of Chef Alex Chen and Executive Chef Derek Bendig, guests can expect thoughtfully curated multi-course menus highlighting the finest local and seasonal ingredients from British Columbia’s land and sea. Beverage pairings, curated by Wild Blue Wine Director Benoit Nadeau, will feature a premium selection of wines from the restaurant’s esteemed winery partners.
Each event will begin at 4:00 p.m. with a welcome reception featuring seasonal, handcrafted cocktails from Bar Manager Zack Lavoie and his award-winning team, along with Perrier-Jouët champagne and canapés, before guests gather at a communal long table designed to celebrate exceptional cuisine, conversation, and the spirit of shared dining.
Committed to sustainability and supporting the local community, Wild Blue will once again donate a portion of the Long Table Dinner Series proceeds to the Whistler Blackcomb Foundation.
Tickets are priced at $259 per person, plus tax and gratuity. Full menus and additional event details will be announced closer to the dates. Tickets are expected to sell quickly. For more information and tickets, visit WildBlueRestaurant.com.
